Flattop upper receiver with the Mil-Std 1913, Picatinny rail that can mount various scopes and laser sights, and it is fitted with the 16 1/2 inch chrome lined barrel with the 1-7 inch twist that has the M203GL type cut on the front end fitted with the standard bird cage flash hider. The barrel is marked on top, "C MP/5.56mm NATO 1/7". It has the standard detachable carrying handle with the adjustable 600 meter rear sight and the standard front sight base with post front sight. Standard markings. 4-position telescoping buttstock. It is complete with a bore safety flag, one 20 round magazine and the side mounted sling swivels.
