Manufactured in 1902, this factory refinished rifle features dovetail blade front sight with adjustable notch rear sights and a half magazine. The left rear of the barrel is marked with the model, Winchester trade mark and caliber marking, the right side is marked with the two line New Haven address, and the Winchester oval proof is marked on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. The upper tang marking is marked with the model and patent information, and the serial number is marked on the bottom of the receiver. It has an all blue finish and is mounted with a smooth walnut forearm and straight grip stock.

Very fine as factory refinished. The rifle retains 95% of the blue finish with finish worn or absent on the forearm cap, some oxidation on the frame, and various minor scratches along with scattered marks and dings. The stock is very fine with some minor dings and marks. Mechanically excellent.
