Description:

Both books are published in English. The first book is a soft cover with an added hard cover that is simply marked "PARABELLUM/AUTOMATIC/PISTOL." on the exterior with the soft cover page marked "PARABELLUM/Automatic Pistol/Borchardt-Luger's System/(SWISS REGULATION PATTERN 1900) DEUTSCHE WAFFEN= UND/MUNITIONS = FABRIKEN…/BERLIN" the pages have directions for optimum use as well as detailed diagrams and images. Inside the rear hard cover is a sticker marked "Gaylord Bros./Makers/Syracuse, N.Y./PAT. JAN. 21, 1908" Gaylord Bros. is a still active archival and library supply company. The second book is a soft cover with "The Original MAUSER Automatic Pistol Model 1930" over an image of the pistol with "Calibre 7.63 mm (.300")" followed by "Trade Mark/Mauser/Registered" in the lower section. The manual covers the basics of using the pistol including the use of the "broom handle" holster-stock with detailed pictures throughout Inside the front cover it also contains images of the Mauser factory and Paul Von Mauser. The final page has advertisements for other Mauser arms.

Rating Definition:

The books are in very good shape for their age and have less than the expected shelf-wear and corner wear and would be great in a collector's library.
