Dated "42" on chamber and "byf" code on toggle, with two "eagle/135" proofs and an eagle firing proof on the right side barrel extension and "P.08" on left side of the frame. The "eagle/135" proof is repeated on the barrel, and the firing proof on the barrel and breechblock. Visible numbers are matching, except the magazine. The upper safety area and extractor are correctly marked "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" respectively. Fixed blade and notch rear sights, blue magazine with unnumbered plastic base, and checkered black plastic grips.

Fine as professionally restored, with 95% of the blue finish, showing bright edge wear and scattered handling marks, along with a small amount of wear on the sides of the breechblock and toggle links. Grips are very good reproductions, with some minor chips and dings. Mechanically excellent.
