This is an example of a Pre-WWII German Luger P.08 pistol that was manufactured by Mauser in 1935, and bears the coded "G" date on top of the chamber and Mauser's "S/42" manufacturing code on the front toggle link. "W 154" and "S92" proofs are present on the right side of the extension, the "droop wing eagle" on the extension, barrel, and breechblock, and "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" marks on the safety area and extractor. Fitted with straw finished small parts, blued pins and screws, checkered grips and a nickel finished magazine with alloy base.

Very fine as restrawed, showing 95% original blue, with scattered dings and high edge wear. The straw colors have been professionally redone and are 90% intact. The grips are very fine, with some noticeable dings present on the right panel and minor dings overall. The magazine has been renumbered to match pistol. Mechanically excellent.
