This is a later production Walther PP pistol in the very desirable 22LR. The serial number range of this Walther PP pistol falls right in line with other WWII Walther PPs also produced in 22 LR. These 22 caliber model PPs and PPKs were produced throughout the normal production and are always considered highly desirable. This pistol has the standard fixed sights, with the left side of the slide marked with the Walther Banner followed by "Waffenfabrik Walther, Zella-Mehlis (Thur)/Walther's Patent Cal.22" followed by "Mod PP". The right side of the slide, chamber area and front end of the barrel are correctly stamped with the Nazi "Eagle/N" Commercial proofs. It has matching serial numbers (248332p) which are stamped on the right side of the frame and slide. This pistol is complete with the original Walther 22 caliber magazine with the black plastic finger extension, one spare magazine with the flat base plate and an original, unmarked wartime commercial brown leather holster.

Excellent with 95% of the original blue finish overall with edge and high spot wear overall with general, light thinning on the slide and grip straps. The holster is in very fine condition with a nice light brown color overall with tight stitching. The leather shows some minor scuffing and darker areas consistent with light general use. A very nice WWII Walther PP pistol rig.
