Blade front and fine-adjustable tangent rear sights, "1917" date on the chamber and "DWM" monogram on the toggle link. Three "crown/letter" proofs are present on the right side of the barrel extension, with "Imperial Eagle" firing proofs on the extension, barrel and breechblock. Excluding the magazine, externally visible numbers match with proper "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" markings on the upper safety position and extractor respectively. With straw finished small parts, nickel finished magazine with unmarked wood base and checkered grips. With a hardwood stock, numbered "1920" and "4890/l", leather shoulder strap, and a black leather holster.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with 50% of the faded original blue finish, showing a gray patina on the sideplate and high edges, scattered areas of brown patina, and mild spotting and handling marks overall. Some patches of deeper spotting are present on the barrel, and the straw components have been polished bright. The grips are good, with some minor dents. The holster and stock are fair, with some replaced leather, the endcap for the mounting hardware absent, and the holster mounted with screws to the wood. Mechanically very good.
