Description:

Blade front and adjustable rear sights. Blued barrel marked with a large star burst behind the rear sight and three proofmarks along with 12 stamped twice on the left side. Light scroll engraved casehardened hammer, upper tang and lock plate marked "JOSEPH WILSON". The scroll work is also on the brass square back trigger guard, lower tang and buttplate tang. Checkered straight grip half-stock and ebony ramrod with brass tip.

Rating Definition:

Very good as period refurbished overall with virtually all of the blue and casehardened finish remaining with some minor scratches. The brass has a smooth aged patina. The revarnished stock is excellent with some light scratches and nicks. The checkering is sharp. The markings are clear.
