Description:

All three have the SS pattern blade etching, hilt and sheath. 1) Gottlieb Hammesfahr (Solingen) dagger, 13 5/8 inches long, 8 5/8 inch blade with RZM "M.7/67/1940" mark and "SS" runes on the reverse and a RZM "M5/8" (Assmann & Sons) hanger clip. 2) Reproduction SS dagger, 13 3/4 inches long, 8 3/4 inch blade with no legible makers marks. 3) "M7/36" (Hoerster) marked dagger, 13 7/8 inches long, 8 3/4 inch blade.

Rating Definition:

1) Fair as assembled with reproduction scabbard with spotting and polishing on the blade, additional spotting and wear on the metal, and some dents and chips on the grip. The sheath has been repaired. The rest of the hanger is not included. 2) Poor/relic condition. 3) Poor as reproduced. The blade has been machine-sharpened with spotting on the metal, mild dings on the wood, and flaking of the sheath finish.
