Excellent overall with 90% of the original blue finish displaying areas of light handling marks, and edge wear, as well as minor cycling marks. The wood is excellent, with some scattered light abrasions and minor indentations. Mechanically excellent.
Manufactured between 1912 and 1922. The barrel has a single bead front sight with an adjustable open sporting style rear. The barrel is marked with the two line address/patent marking followed by ".44 REM OR .44 W.C.F." on the left side, with "REMINGTON / TRADE MARK" on the top at the breech. Equipped with a Lyman peep sight. 12 groove forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with a steel buttplate.
Very good overall with 70% original blue finish displaying areas of edge wear, light to moderate handling marks, light to moderate small scratches and areas of cycling marks. The wood is very good, with moderate handling marks scattered throughout, along with some abrasions and indentations. Mechanically excellent.
