Manufactured in 1890 and chambered for the 40-82 WCF cartridge, this rifle features standard Winchester markings, a full length magazine tube, full octagon barrel with beaded blade and elevation adjustable sporting sights, casehardened frame, and a smooth oil stained forearm and straight wrist stock with a crescent rifle buttplate.
Fine. The rifle retains 50% of the thinning original blue finish with the balance displaying some traces of original blue and case colors and primarily a mottled gray-brown patina with some minor scratches and light spotting. The wood is very good with some minor pressure marks and light abrasions. The action is excellent, and the markings are crisp.
