Manufactured between 1962 and 1970, the Gyrojet Carbine fires a 13mm spin-stabilized solid fuel rocket in lieu of a traditional cartridge. Operating at a very low pressures and not needing a sophisticated cartridge ejection system, the carbine is made from very light alloys overall with a sight mounting rail on the barrel ahead of the 2-line makers, model and caliber markings, a ventilated magazine cover, and a silver-colored finish overall. With a smooth pistol grip stock with a raised comb and cheekpiece and a Pachmayr White Line recoil pad.
Excellent with 90% of the silver finish showing some light wear on the grip area along with a thin crack partially covered by the grip. The remaining finish shows discoloration. The stock is very good with some light scuffs minor dings and a replacement recoil pad. Mechanically very good.
