Single bead sight on a solid matte rib, Krupp steel barrels double triggers and tang safety. Choked full/improved cylinder, 2 3/4 inch chambers with extractor. The right barrel is marked "VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD, NEW YORK", and "THE 'KNOCK ABOUT' GUN" is on the left barrel. Casehardened action marked "VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD / U.S. AGENTS, NEW-YORK" on the left side plate and "J.P. SAUER & SON, / MAKER & PATENTEE." on the right side plate. Very light fine scroll engraving on the side plates, screws and triggerguard. Checkered forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with a solid rubber recoil pad. Length of pull is 13 3/4".
Fine as refinished with 95% of the aged blue finish on the barrels with scattered light surface scratches and a few very minor dings. The frame has 50% of the original casehardened finish with the rest aged to a mostly uniform gray patina with some small areas of light oxidation. The wood is fine as lightly sanded and oiled with a few moderate pressure indentations and scratches.
