Rating Definition:

Good as cut down and fitted with a replacement blade front sight. The rifle retains 20% of the original blue finish primarily confined to the protected areas and a mixture of brown and gray patina, mild oxidation, and patches of pitting on the balance. The brass elevator has an even aged patina. The hammer and lever retain more than half of the subdued case colors. The wood is fine with moderate handling wear, numerous light scratches, scattered dings and a few minor chips. The action is fine and the markings are clear. The upper tang has an empty tap for tang sight base which is not present.
