Over one million Model 1892s were manufactured between 1892 and 1941. This early rifle was manufactured in 1895 and has the appropriate Winchester markings, replacement Marble No. 3 front and adjustable rear sights, a smooth walnut forearm and straight wrist stock with attractive figure, standard forend cap, and rifle buttplate.

Very good plus. 40% of the original blue finish remains with an honest brown patina taking its place, some light spotting, and minor marks. The buttplate has bright, rough oxidation. The reoiled wood is very good with some small dings, light scratches, and a few minor chips. There is a thin cracks at the toe. The action is excellent and the markings are crisp.
