This original Colt vertical lid case is made from rosewood, has a golden rectangular plaque on the top of the lid, and a red fabric lined and fitted interior for a Colt Model 1849 Pocket revolver with a 5 inch barrel and accessories. Included in the case is an Eley Bros cap tin, combination screwdriver and nipple wrench, Colt's patent dual cavity bullet mold, a small powder flask with two lower compartments, and four conical lead bullets. Very good overall. The case has some minor storage wear including some stains and small tears on the lining and some cracks at the lock. The accessories are fine. The mold is very good with traces of blue and has some oxidation. The screws for holding the flask collar in place are absent.
