Manufactured in 1886 (the third year of production) with a Rocky Mountain style German silver blade front sight, adjustable sporting rear sight, standard early markings, full length magazine, and a checkered walnut forearm and smooth straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.

Fine. 60% plus of the bright original high polish blue finish remains, and the balance has a brown patina and some light oxidation. Most of the wear is on the upper and lower sections of the receiver. There are a series of brighter scratches on the left side around the Rampant Colt emblem. The wood is also fine with some minor dings, scratches, and small chips. The action functions very well, and the markings are clear.
