Description:

This revolver was manufactured in 1875. The .30 caliber New Line revolvers were only manufactured for three years and only around 10,946 were produced. This example has the etched panel marking on the left side of the barrel, standard features and markings including matching serial numbers, and a dark set of varnished grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as partially refinished (barrel). The barrel retains a very crisp etched panel marking and nearly all of the original, bright blue finish. The cylinder retains 25% of the original blue finish and has a gray and brown patina on the balance. The frame retains 75% strong case colors. There are some spots of slight oxidation. The grips are also very fine with minor handling and storage wear. The action is fine.
