The factory letter confirms this revolver and two others were shipped to Montgomery Ward and Company in Chicago on November 25, 1893, in the current configuration. It has the original SAA frame with cylinder pin retaining screw, standard markings including matching serial numbers and "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER" stamped on the left side of the barrel, and a pair of checkered grips with the Rampant Colt emblem at the top.

Very good plus. The revolver has traces of original finish in the protected areas and otherwise a mix of gray and brown patina. There is some light pitting and various dings and minor marks. The grips are also very good with minor handling wear and an aged patina. The action functions fine, and the markings are clear.
