This pistol has a Russian style miquelet lock and the stock style, chiseled brass, once gilted ornamentation, and traditional trigger and trigger guard of the style seen on Ottoman-Balkan pistols from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. It has light engraving on the lock including a bird design on the bottom of the spring. The brass furniture has extensive relief designs and niello inlay, and the stock has coordinating intricate carved designs along with a bone trigger plate.

Very good. The barrel and lock are mostly bright with some oxidation. There is distinct niello inlay of the front barrel bands and buttcap. The brass has an aged patina. The wood is very good with some chips at the edges and minor scratches. The lock has a repair and needs work as the hammer spring Is broken. Some of the fittings are loose or cracked.
