Currently this Italian gun company builds about 24 shotguns a year. Each gun is custom made for each customer. Guns with serial number above 1709, such as this particular shotgun, have their own patented action. Single steel bead sight on the smooth concave solid rib marked "ARMI FLLI RIZZINI MAGNO V.T." near the breech and has a small wedge of fine English scroll engraving at the breech. Choked improved cylinder/modified, 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors. The underside of the left barrel is marked "WM L MOORE & CO SCOTTSDALE AZ" and "MODEL R1-E" on the right. The barrels are brown with a coin finish on the remaining parts. The frame, side locks, trigger guard, break lever and forearm hardware are very nicely engraved with fine English scroll work with larger floral scroll accents. In addition the left side lock has a finely detailed field scene with two quail in flight, two pigeons taking flight in a field scene on the right and a hunting dog in tall grass on the underside of the frame. To the right and ahead of the trigger guard is signed by the engraver "Contessa". The matching serial number is marked on the lower tang, water table, barrel flat and on the forearm hardware. Mounted with an extra fancy nicely figured English walnut multi-point checkered splinter forearm and straight grip stock with a checkered bare butt. Length of pull is 14 3/8 inches. Comes with a leather hard case with leather corner protectors, straps and handle, with green felt lining and F.lli Rizzini label affixed to the inside of the lid. In the case is a two piece wooden cleaning rod, nickel oiler, two nickel snap caps, key, and a bore mop, brush and jag. The length of pull is 14 3/8 inches, drop at comb is 1 1/2 inches, at heel 2 inches and no cast.

Near new with only light handling/storage marks. The case is excellent. An exceptionally nice made to order 20 gauge Fratelli Rizzini shotgun and the finest we have ever offered.
