Manufactured for Colt by J.P. Sauer & Son of West Germany. This rifle features a barrel manufactured without sights. The receiver is fitted with swivel style Redfield scope bases and rings. Has a detachable box magazine and tang mounted safety. Mounted on a nicely figured checkered high comb pistol grip English walnut stock with contrasting wood forend and grip caps, raised cheekpiece, sling swivel studs and a vented Colt Sauer recoil pad. The grip cap features an inset acrylic Rampant Colt medallion.

Excellent with 99% plus original polished blue finish remaining, showing only light handling marks. The wood is also excellent with some small indentations and blemishes in the varnish. The grip cap medallion does sit slightly proud to the surrounding wood. Mechanically excellent.
