Manufactured between 1957 and 1975. The rifle is equipped with a hooded ramp front sight and a receiver mounted fully adjustable Lyman rear aperture sight. Belgian proofs are stamped on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech with the FN logo on top of the receiver and the FN address on the left receiver wall. The chrome-vanadium barrel is numbered to the gun. Polished bolt with the low bolt handle to clear scopes. The bolt is numbered to the gun. The nicely figured European walnut stock features checkering on the forearm and grip area, plastic grip cap, raised cheekpiece, sling swivels, and a solid rubber Decelerator recoil pad.

Excellent with 95% plus original blue finish remaining, showing light handling marks, some scratches at the front sight ramp, some darker spotting on the bolt handle and thinning of the nitre blue on the trigger and bolt release. The wood is also excellent with sharp checkering, light handling marks and a few small indentations. Mechanically excellent.
