This Westerner was produced in 1961 and is one of only 20,998 manufactured by Winchester pre-1964. The .264 Winchester Magnum cartridge was only available in the Westerner and Featherweight Westerner and ranked tenth in rarity out of the twenty standard cartridges. The rifle has the standard late features and markings including the hooded, beaded blade front sight on a serrated ramp and the Lyman 16B folding rear sight. It is mounted on a Monte Carlo stock with checkered forend and grip, standard sling swivels, a checkered plastic buttplate, and no cheekpiece. It comes with the original factory box with matching end label.

Near new in box. The rifle has only light handling and storage marks and still has traces of the original oil. The box is very good with mild storage wear.
