This is an original Winchester signal cannon with the two line address on top of the barrel followed by "10 Ga" at the breech. The trademark data is cast in raised letters on both cheeks of the carriage. The 10 gauge breech loading Winchester Cannon was designed by Charles H. Griffith and patented on August 20, 1901.

Fine. 60% of the original finish remains along with a brown patina on the balance. Most of the finish flaking is present on the barrel and wheels and there is some oxidation. It is mechanically fine.
