Both sets of barrels are 12 gauge. Number 1 is 32 inches in length, and number 2 is 28 inches in length. Both have dual white bead sights on a matte vent rib (Simmons marked on number 2), 2 3/4 inch chambers, and ejectors. Barrel set number 1 is choked full/improved modified, and number 2 is cylinder/modified. Both sets have a 2 3/4 inch wedge of floral scroll engraving with a punch dot background and gold inlaid highlighting on the breech ends along with a gold wire band and inlaid "1" and "2" on the ribs. The left barrel at the breech is marked "WINCHESTER-12 GAUGE/2 3/4 CHAM." on each set. Both sets of barrels share the same forearm. Set number 2 is currently on the shotgun and is equipped with 28 gauge barrel inserts which gauge at full/improved modified and have 2 3/4 inch chambers. The action and break lever are engraved with floral scroll designs with a punch dot background. There is a gold inlaid wire border on the action and break lever. The left side of the action has a gold inlaid relief hunting dog in pursuit of two relief ducks in a marsh scene, and a gold relief hunting dog and two gold relief quail in a field scene is on the right side. The trigger plate has the same floral scroll and punch dot engraving as well as a gold inlaid wire bordered oval in the center with two gold relief birds sitting on white gold relief branches. Below the oval is "DELUX (sic)/TRAP" in gold inlay. The trigger guard and forearm hardware are engraved with a floral scroll design with simple gold wire bordering and accents. In addition, there is a gold inlaid dog's head on the trigger guard. The breech face, barrel flats and lugs and water table are jeweled. Both barrel flats are Winchester proof marked, marked with the matching serial number, "DELUXE" and "2 3/4 CHAM". Set number 2 is also marked "SPECIAL". The forearm hardware is numbered to the gun. It also features a single serrated gold washed trigger with selector, tang mounted manual safety, and extra fancy nicely figured multi-point checkered walnut beaver tail forearm with an ebony forend insert and a pistol grip stock with a metal grip cap gold inlaid "ROYAL GRAND/AMERICAN", a solid leather covered recoil pad and gold initial oval inscribed "D.J. HASINGER/FROM/W.L. STOCKLIN/1953". D. J. Hasinger is listed as the owner of one of Valli Hi Country, the 1968 winner of the National Red Setter Field Trial Club Championships. His champion was also the sire of the winners the following two years. The engraved dogs are likely inspired by Hasinger's earlier setters. W. L. Stocklin was a hardware retailer and marksman from Chillicothe, Ohio. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches. The shotgun comes in a hard canvas takedown case with leather corner protectors, straps and handle and green lining with a Winchester label affixed to the inside of the lid. In the case are two 410 gauge barrel inserts which are choked modified with 2 3/4 inch chambers, one gold 12 gauge snap cap, a gold container with a screw on lid containing a key, a No-Mar plastic headed hammer and a Galco removable butt pad.

Very fine as professionally custom non factory upgraded and embellished with 99% blue finish remaining showing only some very light handling wear and marks. All of the gold inlay remains. The fine, refinished wood shows only some light handling marks, and the recut checkering is very crisp. The recoil pad shows some wear and cracking. The markings and engraving are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some staining on the exterior and some contact wear on the lining. All accessories are excellent.
