The Standard Grade Model 21 was manufactured between 1931 and 1959, with this shotgun manufactured after WWII. Single steel bead sight on the concave matte solid rib, choked modified/full with ejectors. The left rear barrel is marked "WINCHESTER- 12 GAUGE/2 3/4 CHAM.". The underside of the barrels are Winchester Proof Steel marked "MOD." on the right and "FULL" on the left. The right side of the water table is marked with the Winchester oval proof and "MADE IN U.S.A. MODEL 21" over the two-line address on the left side. The barrel flat, forearm hardware and wood are marked with the matching serial number. Single trigger with selector, tang mounted automatic safety with gold "SAFE" and mounted with a nicely figured multi-point checkered walnut beaver tail forearm and pistol grip stock with a vented Pachmayr recoil pad. Length of pull is 13 3/4 inches.

Excellent. The shotgun retains 99% original blue finish with a very small area of light oxidation on the muzzle of the left barrel and a few minor scratches on the underside of the receiver. The wood is very good overall. The stock has been cut down and a Pachmayr recoil pad installed. Overall there are some scattered minor nicks and dings, some of the varnish on the underside of the stock has been worn off and the checkering is crisp. The markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
