Manufactured in 1935, this Colt National Match pistol has been upgraded with a later production thick serrated Patridge blade front sight and a Micro-brand windage/elevation adjustable rear sight on the matching numbered slide, which bears the two-line address and patent dates on the left side and the "NATIONAL MATCH" nomenclature and Rampant Colt on the right side. Fitted with checkered control surfaces, wide hammer, short milled trigger, long grip safety, arched mainspring housing, checkered grips, a two-tone "R" marked magazine and a "COLT 45 AUTO MATCH" and "MB" marked barrel.

Fine as custom upgraded with 95% of the high polish blue finish showing some light edge wear and handling marks overall. There are trigger shoe "indentions" visible on the side of the trigger (since remove). The refinished grips are earlier production replacements. Mechanically excellent. The good news is that most of the aforementioned upgrades are likely reversible.
