The included Colt factory letter confirms the caliber, barrel length and nickel finish with the type of stocks not listed when it was shipped as part of a 40 gun delivery to famed Fort Worth, Texas based gun dealer Wolf & Klar. The engraving is likely the work of Wolf & Klar and covers 90% of the metal surfaces. The engraving features scrollwork done in a zig-zag line motif. The standard Colt factory markings are present including the Colt "VP" triangle proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Fitted with smooth pearl grips.

Very fine as period retailer embellished. The pistol retains 95% original nickel finish some loss around the grip panels. The grips are good with replaced screw and limited handling marks and attractive color. Mechanically excellent.
