Description:

According to the included factory letter, this pistol was shipped on 15 June 1921 as part of a 50-piece order destined for the Shapleigh Hardware Company. The grips are "Not Listed", and also not mentioned is a small "iron cross" stamp on the left side of the frame, hidden by the grip. Fixed sights, with the one-block address and patent dates on the left side of the slide ahead of the Rampant Colt, caliber markings on the right, and "60" and "R/VP" on the trigger guard. The grips are contoured stag horn (which the consignor states are similar to those found in Brunner p. 89 f. 118) with a set of black "shoes" on the rear for alignment with the grip frame and a two-tone magazine.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 85% plus of the original blue finish showing a few dings on the slide and minor handling marks overall. Grips are very good with fine color. Mechanically excellent.
