Blade front and folding ladder rear sights, with an untouched mum and no series marking on the receiver. Matching serial numbers are present on the 2-screw bayonet base, bolt handle and safety knob. Fitted with a smooth pistol grip stock, 13 3/4 inch chisel-tip trefoil spike bayonet and a steel buttplate.

Very fine with 80% of the blue showing patches of heavy spotting, covered pitting and scattered handling marks. The extractor is numbered to another carbine. Stock is fine with a number of dents, bruises and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.

This is an example of a seldom encountered long variant of a Japanese Type 99 rifle. Blade front and tangent rear sights, with flip-out anti-aircraft wings, solid mum, and no series mark on the receiver. A replacement dust cover (serial "159") is included, and matching numbers are present on the bayonet lug, bolt handle and safety knob. With a smooth hardwood stock, fitted with a monopod base and marked with 21 notches on the left side near the receiver.

Very fine with 95% of the original high polish blue showing a few areas of brown spotting and scattered handling marks. The stock is fine with some scuffs and dents. Mechanically excellent.
