Description:

Manufactured circa 1909-1928, the Baby Nambu was the semi-official officer's pistol of the Imperial Japanese Military, authorized for private purchase and uniform wear but never issued directly by the Army or Navy. Fixed sights, with the "cannonball" logo on top of the chamber, the 3-symbol Nambu nomenclature and serial number on the right side of the frame, checkered hardwood grips and straw finished small parts. With a nickel plated magazine numbered "1083/*" on the spine, and three modern production boxes of 7mm Nambu ammunition.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 60% of the faded original blue finish, showing areas of gray patina with shallow pitting, along with some bright edge wear, a brown patina on the grip straps, and mild handling marks. The grips are also fine with some light dents. Mechanically excellent.
