"JSB" (John S. Begley) inspected frame, with "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" above the serial number. Checkered thin hammer, stamped trigger, and thumb safety, long grip safety, serrated slide catch and arched mainspring housing. With reinforced Coltwood grips and full blue service model magazine.

Very fine with 95% plus original parkerized finish showing minor edge wear and scattered handling marks. The grips are excellent with some mild dings. Mechanically excellent. These JSB marked U.S. Service Model Ace Colt autos are rare and seldom encountered in this excellent condition.
