Originally manufactured in 1918 by Colt, this 1911 frame has been refurbished with a World War II Ithaca slide and a few 1911A1 components. Fixed sights, with the Ithaca address on the left side of the slide and "eagle/S17" inspection mark on the frame. Fitted with a checkered thin hammer, slide stop and thumb safety, short grip safety, long smooth trigger, unmarked full blue magazine, reinforced Colt grips, and a High Standard barrel. With a tooled brown leather H.H. Heiser holster and a 1997 dated Hawaii registration card for this pistol (identified as an Ithaca, but by the correct serial number).

Very fine as Arsenal refurbished with 97% of the parkerized finish showing areas of brown patina and scattered edge wear and handling marks. Grips are very fine with scuffs and dents. Holster is very good, with a torn retention strap and a number of scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
