This is a factory engraved gold inlaid special edition revolver celebrating the bear. The engraving coverage is “A”. The front strap is marked “COLT ENG” under the left grip. Blue finished barrel with front and rear double gold bands. Fancy scroll engraving with a punch dot background on the rear of the barrel, casehardened frame with gold borders and blue finished trigger guard and back strap. The recoil shield exhibits a raised gold washed running bear, as found on the California state flag, set on a punch dot background. "3 of 10 CA" is hand written in gold on the right side of the frame. Blue finished hammer with bright finished sides. Black checkered grips with federal eagles and Rampant Colts. Complete with "wood grain" box numbered to gun and red velvet lined wooden case with "WESTERN STATES ANIMALS / SPEICAL EDITION / CALIFORNIA / 3 of 10" engraved on a gold washed lid plate.
