Description:

The factory letter states that this revolver was engraved by "Expert Engraver John Adams, Sr." with "Class 'B' expert level, custom scroll engraving emulating the old world decorative patterns utilized by the following four engravers" Gustave Young, Louis Nimschke, Rudolph Kornbrath, and Cuno Helfricht. The top of the back strap is also enhanced with the Serpentine Colt logo inlaid in blue ceramic by Colt Master Engraver, Steve Kamyk." The letter also notes that the revolver shipped in this configuration with buffalo horn grips to Brazas Sporting Inc. in Monson, Massachusetts, on September 30, 1997. The bottom of the back strap is engraved with the four engravers' names. The revolver comes with a matching Colt shipping sleeve, blue box, and papers. Aside from those noted above, the markings and features are standard.

Rating Definition:

Near new in box with only light handling marks. The box and sleeve are very good with only light storage wear.
