Manufactured in 1987, as part of the five gun set of ejectorless Single Action Army Revolvers known as the Sheriff's Edition. This set was issued with a glass covered display case in which the revolvers were displayed in a circle surrounding a Sheriff's badge. Standard markings with one-piece smooth walnut grips. Complete with shared wood Colt display case with green fitted lining with "COLT/SHERIFF'S/EDITION/1987" five point star in the center and original labeled factory box numbered to the gun.
