Manufactured in 1949. Fitted with an elevation adjustable pinned blade front and windage adjustable rear notch sights. With standard barrel and frame markings, checkered spur hammer, serrated trigger and serrated back strap. The grips are checkered plastic with molded Colt medallions at the top. Includes a Colt leatherette box with correct model end label.

Excellent with 98% plus original blue finish remaining, showing light handling marks, a few small dings, very slight muzzle wear and a light drag line on the cylinder. The grips are also excellent with light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The box is good with some separated corners and edge and general corner wear.
