This revolver was shipped from Colt to Rogers & Baldwin Hardware Company of Springfield, Missouri on May 1, 1931 as stated in the factory letter. The letter also confirms the caliber, barrel length, finish and serial number. With standard markings and features. The grips are checkered walnut with inset silver Colt medallions. Includes a Colt maroon box, hand numbered to the gun with matching end label.

Near new in box with 99% original blue finish remaining, showing scattered areas of very light spotting, some light surface scratches and a faint drag line on the cylinder. The grips are also excellent with sharp checkering and light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with a partially torn end, general storage marks and weakening in the hinge area.
