This revolver was manufactured in 1915. It is marked with "+COLT OFFICERS MODEL 38+" on the left side of the barrel, the two-line patent and address markings on the top, the Rampant Colt on the left side rear of the frame, and matching serial numbers on the frame and crane. It is fitted with adjustable target sights, an unshrouded ejector rod, and a pair of checkered walnut grips with deeply inset silver Colt medallions, numbered to the gun on the backs of the panels in pencil. The hammer, trigger, and back strap are checkered.

Excellent with 97% plus bright original high polish blue finish, light scattered handling marks, minor surface scratches and some light edge wear at the muzzle and under the cylinder release. The grips are also excellent with only light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
