This stunning reproduction of the iconic Texas Paterson revolver features extensive, highly detailed vine scroll engraving with textured punch dot backgrounds on the frame, breech area of the barrel, recoil shield, grip straps and even the folding trigger. The muzzle features two accents of feather type engraving with an inlaid silver band. The top of the barrel is marked "SAMUEL COLT TEXAS PATERSON" with two silver bands at the breech. The cylinder features the stagecoach hold up scene with two inlaid silver bands. The top of the back strap features a yellow gold inlaid Texas longhorn head. The grips feature scalloped accents at the corners and top with a solid silver wire border trim. Includes a glass top display case with two wood handled cleaning rods, capper, loading leaver, bullet mold, powder flask/charger and keys.

Excellent with 99% of the original blue and casehardened finishes. With minimal light handling marks. The engravings are crisp and highly detailed. The inlaid silver bands have taken on a dark tarnished patina. The grips are excellent with attractive color and a very slight crack on the right panel. Mechanically the timing may need to be adjusted as the cylinder will not always index properly.
