The included factory letter confirms the serial number, barrel length, caliber, wood and distinct features. Manufactured by the Axtell Rifle Company (Riflesmith Inc.) of Sheridan, Montana, this reproduction of the Sharps 1877 long range No. 2 Creedmore rifle features a globe front sight, no rear barrel sight and a long range peep sight mounted on the upper tang. The left side of the barrel is marked "--MODEL 1877-- AXTELL RIFLE CO. SHERIDAN MONT.", and "CALIBER 45 2 1/10" is on the left side just forward of the breech. The barrel is blue, and the action, lever and hammer are casehardened. Checkered hammer and trigger and fitted with a walnut checkered Schnabel tip forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered Axtel Rifle Co monogrammed plastic buttplate. Includes papers.

Excellent with 99% original finish remaining showing only light handling marks. The wood is also excellent with some light handling marks, minor surface scratches and a few dings on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
