This elegantly designed shotgun was manufactured in Italy. The shotgun features a fully hardened, side lock action with hammers. The locking system is an English type double bolt, with automatic cocking and safety. The barrels are blue and the remaining parts are casehardened. Single brass bead sight on the matte solid rib, with 3 inch chambers and choked modified/full. The left barrel is marked "Siace di Gelmini Gardone V.T. Italy" in fancy script and the breech end of the barrels have a decorative border engraving. The lower tang by the trigger guard is marked with the serial number. The side locks are marked "Siace di Gelmini" on the left and "GARDONE V.T." on the right, both in fancy script. Jeweled ejector face, water table and barrel flats and double triggers. Mounted with extra fancy, nicely figured select walnut with hand checkered splinter forearm and straight grip stock with tear drop flats and a checkered bare butt. Includes a tweed and leather "S.I.A.C.E." labeled takedown case with a canvas cover, as well as an unlabeled leather takedown case with a nickel oil bottle, two snap caps, wood cleaning rod, cleaning rod heads and cloth sleeves.

Excellent with 99% original finish and minimal light handling marks. The wood is excellent with sharp checkering, attractive figuring and minimal light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Both cases are excellent with general storage and handling type marks.
