Single bead front sight on solid rib marked "HUNTER ARMS CO. FULTON, N.Y." with 2 3/4 inch chambers with extractor and choked full/improved. "2" marked on barrel flat. Casehardened scroll engraved action with "L.C. SMITH" and game bird scenes on each lock plate. Double triggers and tang mounted manual safety. The forearm has multi-point checkering with ebony tip insert. It has a walnut checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber cap and serrated hard rubber buttplate.

Very good with 50% of the original thin brown finish on the barrels, strong chain Damascus patterning, scattered small nicks and dings, and some very light pitting. The action shows some weak case colors in the protected areas, the balance has aged to a mottled gray/brown patina with some surface scratches and general handling marks. The wood is about good as repaired with scattered indentations, a break at the upper wrist, splits, and a large chip in the forearm where new screws have been put in and chips on the buttplate.
