Single steel bead sight on the smooth concave solid rib. The top of the rib near the breech is marked "The Royal", and 2 inches of the breech end is engraved with a floral leaf design. The top rear of the right barrel is marked "HOLLAND & HOLLAND", and "13, BURTON STREET, LONDON." is on the left side. Choked modified/full, 2 3/4 inch chambers and ejectors. The barrel flats are nitro proofed, marked with a British proofmark, "729", "12" in a diamond, "2 3/4"" and "3 1/3 TONS". The underside of each barrel is marked with the matching serial number, and bottom of the rib ahead of the latching hardware is marked "MADE IN ENGLAND". The frame, lock plates, break lever, trigger guard and forearm hardware are very nicely engraved with a floral scroll design. Each lock plate is marked "HOLLAND/&/HOLLAND". The front left side of the frame is marked "MADE IN ENGLAND" in a circle around a flower, and the underside of the frame is marked "THE/"ROYAL"/MODEL". The matching serial number is marked on the lower tang, water table (each side), barrels and on the forearm hardware. Double triggers, cocking indicators with gold indicator bar, tang mounted automatic safety with gold "SAFE" and mounted with a extra fancy English walnut multi-point checkered walnut forearm and straight grip stock with teardrop flats, a finely checkered bare butt and gold initial oval inscribed "R/J/B". Length of pull is 14 3/8 inches. Drop at comb is 1/1/2 inches, at heel 2 inches, 3/8 inch cast off and weight is 6 lbs. 5 oz. Comes with a hard leather takedown case with leather corner protectors, straps and handle, gold embossed "B.P. Russell" on the lid, and wine colored felt lining with a Holland & Holland, "IMPORTANT" gun cleaning and lubrication and Royal Hammerless Ejector Gun labels affixed to the inside of the lid. In the case is a two piece wooden cleaning rod, a nickel oiler, two nickel snap caps and a key.

Near new with only light handling/storage marks. The case is very good with some water stains and scuffs on the exterior. The lining and accessories are excellent.
