The receiver is engraved with dogs on point in a field scene on both the left and right sides with the Parker Brothers banner. The underside is engraved with four game birds. The rest of the action is engraved with a tight swirling scroll pattern. The trigger guard, fences, and break lever are similarly engraved. With dual triggers and automatic thumb safety. Mounted on a multi-point checkered splinter forearm with engraved hardware and pistol grip stock with tear drop flats, Parker Brothers hard rubber grip cap, silver initial oval marked "S", and a solid rubber recoil pad. Very good with 70% of the finish, light dings at the muzzle, scattered small surface scratches, and general handling type marks on the barrels. The frame has 40% of the original case colors with areas faded to a mottled gray/brown patina, light handling marks, and very clear engravings. The trigger guard shows a mixture of original blue, some brown patina, and a smooth gray patina in the grip area. The wood is very good with scattered indentations and surface scratches, sharp checkering, and attractive grain. The recoil pad is cracking with age deterioration.
