Ramp blade front and fixed 50 yard notch leaf rear sight with folding leaf removed. With "HOLLAND & HOLLAND, 98. NEW BOND STREET, LONDON." on the right barrel and "WINNERS OF ALL THE "FIELD" RIFLE TRIALS, LONDON. 1883." on the left. Original sights/mounts removed with filler blocks in the solid rib. Original bore markings are .300 caliber and 1 in 18 inch twist. Barrels are now sleeved and proofed for .22 Hornet. Scroll and floral engraved frame and lock plates, with an automatic tang safety and "HOLLAND/&HOLLAND" on each lock plate. Checkered pistol grip stock with engraved forearm hardware, horn grip cap, raised shadow-line cheekpiece, a silver inscription panel and a serrated horn buttplate.

Very good as professionally refurbished, with 70% of the current blue finish, showing areas of plum patina, a small amount of pitting near the muzzle, and mild handling marks overall. 40% of the casehardened finish remains on the lock plates, with a smooth silvered patina on the frame. Stock is excellent, with a few small worm holes in the buttplate, some light dents, and highly attractive grain. Mechanically excellent.
