Manufactured in 1907 with a single steel bead sight on the solid concave matte rib, "J.P. SAUER & SON" marked on both the right and left sides at the breech, "FLUID-STEEL" on the left and "KRUPP-ESSEN" on the right, 2 9/16 inch chambers, automatic safety, dual trigger, improved modified/full chokes, and a multi-point checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with hardrubber grip cap, silver initial shield, serrated horn buttplate, and a 14 inch length of pull. The scalloped Greener crossbolt style box lock action is casehardened, has side clips and has delicate floral scroll engraving. The trigger guard and break lever are similarly engraved.

Very good with 70% of the refinished blue remaining on the barrels, scattered small nicks and dings, light edge and muzzle wear, and areas near the breech faded to a dull thinned out blue. The frame shows traces of original case colors in the protected areas, surface scratches and dings and clear markings. The wood is about good with scattered small dents and surface scratches, well defined though slightly smoothed checkering, and cracks and chips on the buttplate.
