Manufactured in 1910. "38-72 W.C.F." marked on top of the barrel at the breech and the two line address/patent dates on the left side of the receiver. The upper tang is marked "MODEL 1895/-WINCHESTER- / TRADE MARK" and the serial number appears on the lower tang behind the lever latch. The barrel is equipped with a dovetailed Lyman blade front sight and the receiver is fitted with an elevation adjustable, two aperture Lyman peep sight. Blue finish with casehardened hammer and crescent buttplate and mounted with a smooth walnut Schnabel forearm with ebony forend insert and straight grip stock.

Fine with 50% plus original blue finish remaining, showing areas of edge and high point wear, light spotting, scattered nicks and surface scratches. The reoiled wood is very good with scattered scratches, light indentations and general handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
