Manufactured in 1894. Blade front and semi-buckhorn rear sights, with standard markings on the barrel, "- MODEL 1886 -" on the upper tang and the 1884 and 1885 patent dates and serial number on the lower tang. Full magazine, all blue finish with casehardened lever and hammer. Smooth semi-deluxe grain straight grip stock with iron forearm cap and a crescent buttplate.

Fine. A smooth blue/brown patina is visible overall with original blue in the protected areas and on the bolt and areas of pitting on the barrel. The lever shows traces of the original vivid case colors in the protected area at the frame on the left side. The high figured wood is fine with a number of dents on the top of the buttstock, a hair line in the forearm on the right at the front, and overall a few minor dents and dings. Mechanically excellent.
